The Friends of Gatineau Park are participating for the third year in this challenge against other local community groups . This friendly competition is a special way to celebrate the festive season and to promote our organizations.
All decorated trees are on display in the David M. Stewart Salon of the museum (Level 3, facing the Grand Hall) where the general public can admire them and vote for them . The trees will be on display from November 30, 2012 to January 6, 2013, at which time the Canadian Museum of Civilization will announce the winner of the annual Christmas Trees Decorating Challenge. Last year, we ranked second ex-aequo with another local group.
We invite you to go to the Museum and to vote for the tree decorated by the Friends! Access to the David M. Stewart Salon does not require you to buy an admission ticket to the museum.
Thank you for your support and enjoy the festive season!
