Heritage weekend special snowshoe tour of MacKenzie-King Estate and surroundings

Bring your own snowshoes on February 16 as the Friends of Gatineau Park mark the 2013 Heritage Day  theme ‘Good Neighbours: Heritage Homes and Neighbourhoods’. Your guide is a descendant of a Chelsea community member who worked at the Estate in the old days.

We’ll be tracking some stories of Mr. King’s Chelsea and Kingsmere neighbours, from such dear friends as the Pattersons — to the unfortunate honey bear!
