This year, the Friends of Gatineau Park, working in close collaboration with the NCC Gatineau Park staff , are happy to invite the general public to attend a revamped and expanded month-long Research Forum to mark the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Gatineau Park. A series of presentations will be taking place on November 16, 23 & 30 covering respectively recreational, conservation and heritage topics. The presentations will be made in English or in French or bilingual.
The final program for these 3 afternoons is attached and features researchers and experts from local universities, the Gatineau Valley Historical Society, the NCC and the Friends. For a pictorial representation of some of the subjects covered, see the attached poster.
