Spring is in the air and frog songs are filling the night! As part of the very popular Dusk Series, the Friends of Gatineau Park invite you to join an experienced amphibian specialist, Dave Seburn, on Friday, April 25, 2014, for an introduction to the frogs, toads and salamanders of Gatineau Park. The activity will start with an indoor presentation to learn about their different calls. Then, the participants will be invited to go to nearby ponds to enjoy the concert first hand and identify who is who! Gatineau Park supports a broad diversity of wildlife, including about 15 species of amphibians.
It is recommended to wear water boots and raincoat and to bring a headlamp for the outdoor part of this activity. Also, the outdoor activity may not be suited for persons having difficulty walking on uneven terrain.
