This year, the Research Forum will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 11 am to 3 pm approximately. The Friends of Gatineau Park (FGP) and the National Capital Commission (NCC) invite you to join us for free presentations about some of the exciting research being conducted in the Park. This is a great opportunity for the public to meet and to talk with some of the researchers.
Research undertaken in Gatineau Park helps park management in their short- and long-term planning aimed at safeguarding natural and historical assets while offering a number of recreational activities. It is also the basis for interpretation and education programs presented in collaboration with the FGP.
The final program for the forum is attached and features several research projects undertaken in the Park.
The presentations will be made in English or in French but questions and answers will be in both official languages.
