The Friends of Gatineau Park invite you to experience a memorable adventure of off-trail snowshoeing in Gatineau Park. You will learn the basics about this traditional mode of transportation and discover some of the hidden beauties of the Park. This activity will take place on Saturday morning on February 7, 2015 in French and on February 14, 2015 in English.

This will also give you a chance to improve your knowledge of:

  • planning and preparing equipment for an outing;

  • reading maps and landscape topography;

  • safety and recreation ethics.

You are required to be in good physical condition for this activity and it is intended for persons aged 13 and older. Make sure you dress warmly for the outing and based on the weather that day.
